Boys Class AAA 55 Meter Dash Summary:
Christopher Kyles of Lane Tech came into the meet as the favorite. After all, he had one of the fastest times coming into the meet in the 55 meter dash; and is one of the top 100 meter returners in the state after finishing 5th last year. He led up to his reputation by winning the 55 meter dash in an incredible 6.36 only .02 seconds behind the meet record holder, Tony Jones of Danville set in 1990. Kyles win was amazing in that he started out slow then busted for the victory at the end. |
