Matt Crier of Bishop McNamara wins it with a cruising 2:01.43. He led after the first 400 with a time of 57 seconds. He led the entire race to win it. "I've only run one 800 prior to this race. In that race I ran a 55 to start the race, it was too fast....this race I adjusted", said Crier after his victory. Crier's strategy worked well for the Irish of Bishop McNamara. |
