Middletown MD girls and Erin Swain stand out
Middletown won a major interstate invitational for the third straight week
(Penn State Spiked Shoe and Hereford Bull Run) with 140 points (2-19-23-36-60),
easily outdistancing Chantilly VA 171 and Louisa County VA 194 in the top seeded
"A" division. But Erin Swain of Lake Braddock VA handed
Middletown's freshman star Emily Buzzell her first defeat of the season, 17:48
to 18:22 (3.05 miles).
