Grafton Bearcat Combo

The Bearcat Combo combines the girls and boys scores together to 

determine the best team at the meet. Sophomore Kenny Beerbower of Clarksburg's 

Robert C. Byrd continued his strong performances this year with a 3 second win 

over Keith Rand of Morgantown. Doddridge County's boys team edged out Morgantown 66-70 

with Williamstown a distant 3d with 106. 

On the distaff side, Ryann Metheny (20:25) won easily over Giti Farudi (20:34) of 

University High (Morgantown) and Grafton's consistent Sherri Flohr (20:39). The 

Bearcat girls continued their winning ways by easily outdistancing Doddridge County 70-92. 

North Marion was 3d with 112 points. In the combined scoring, it was Doddridge County 

(who else?) breezing over Williamstown (232) and Morgantown (234).
