Boys 4A

The Greater Spokane League once again proved dominant with GSL teams grabbing the first 5 team places. While injuries had sidelined top runners from both Mead and University, it was Mead’s overall depth that brought them the District title 100-105 over Mt. Spokane. The individual race between Shadle’s Michael Kiter and University’s Max Schmidt never materialized as Schmidt was held out due to a foot injury. Kiter got off to his usual strong start and crossed the finish line 17 seconds ahead of Mead’s Chris Fayant.
