Cross Country 1999

Washington Eastern District - 3A

10/30/99 at Hangman Golf Course, Spokane Washington
Course: 3.1 mile course, predominately grass with some rolling hills and 1 gradual 80 meter hill.
The course was wet and there were gusty winds.

Boys 3A

Eastmont boys, the number 7 ranked 3A team in the Washington Coaches Poll, placed 3 runners in the top ten to capture the team trophy over Colville 55-66. Selah’s Mike Heidt held on to a 5 second lead over Colville’s Cory Rebmann to win the individual race.

TOP INDIVIDUALS (Top 10 advance to state) – 1, Mike Heidt (Sel) 16:08. 2, Cory Rebmann (Col) 16:13. 3, Larry Thomas (Eas) 16:22. 4, Derek Thornton (Eas) 16:25. 5, Kevin Mahoney (Che) 16:27. 6, Michael Greenman (Col) 16:32. 7, John Frostad (WV) 16:35. 8, Nick Warner (Eas) 16:40. 9, Andy Davis (Che) 16:45. 10, Jordan Tait (Che) 16:47.

Girls 3A

The Eastmont girls placed 1st, 2nd, and 5th on their way to the District title over second place Hanford 42-73. Kelly Dobbins of Eastmont nudged teammate Kristina Owen by 1 second to win the individual race.
