Course: 3.1 mile course, predominately grass with some rolling hills and 1 gradual 80 meter hill.
The course was wet and there were gusty winds.

In the closest team race of the afternoon Freeman held off St. George’s 68-77 for 1A/B team honors. The states top returning 1A/B runner, Jesse Klemish of Springdale, ran to a 19 second victory over Sophomore Reid Carrell from Freeman.

St. George’s dominated the girls race by placing 5 runners in the top 10 and easily outscoring second place Northwest Christian 29-79. Last years State 1A/B champion Laura Halverson of Freeman established an early 30 second lead over the field and coasted to a 20 second victory over St. George’s Samantha Clarke.
