Rhode Island Class Meets
10/30/99
Rhode Island State Meet is set for this Sunday, November 7, at Fort Adams
State Park in Newport. The traditional state meet course at Bryant College
is unavailable due to construction at the college. The Fort Adams course is
decent, wide open through fields, no woods, and somewhat slow due to heavy
grass and always wet conditions at Fort Adams due to ground water and mud
(right on Atlantic Ocean).
Class meets were held last Saturday. In the top

Cumberland to a huge upset over defending team state champion Bishop

behind. Parenteau (17:18), McConnell (17:28), and Malachowski (17:50 despite
