Jeffers took it out early and never looked back, leading his Bonanza 

teammates to a “revenge” win over Boulder City, who had upset them last week 

at the Kingman Invitational in Arizona. Boulder City’s girls narrowly edged 

out Bonanza for second in the girls varsity race, winning on a 6th runner 

tie-breaker. Angela Peterson of the Meadows continued her impressive record 

against local competition, taking over the lead just prior to the mile and 

pulling away to an easy individual win.
