Information for NE State Meet

Awards - When and Where - Qualify - Course - Scoring

Awards

1. Team trophies will be presented to teams placing first and second in
each class.

2. Medals will be presented to the competitors placing first through
fifteenth in each class.

3. A "gold medal" will be presented to the individual having the best time
in the meet regardless of class.

4. Championship team head coaches will receive awards.

5. The Awards Ceremony will begin at the Sports Center at approximately
3:00 p.m. for classes C and D, followed by Classes A & B as results become
available (approximately 4:30 for Class B girls, with Class A girls and
Class B boys and A Boys to follow).

6. Members of the championship team will receive team medals.

7. Members of the runner-up team will receive team medals.

When and Where

The state meet will be held at the Kearney Country Club on October 22. The
approximate starting times are listed below:

Girls Class D--12:00 Noon
Girls Class C
Boys Class D
Boys Class C

Girls Class B --(approx.) 1:45 P.M.
Boys Class A
Boys Class B
Boys Class A

Qualify

To qualify for state: Top 3 teams in each district OR the top 10
individuals (non-scoring at State)

Scoring 

Class A: Run 7 score 5
Classes B, C, and D: Run 6 score 4.
