Notes by Brett Honeycutt:  "a preview of what will happen at the 4A
state meet with Mount Tabor's boys and Raleigh Leesville Road's girls
winning. Watauga was at the Greensboro relay meet and is the team
everybody will be chasing in the boys' 4A race with Leesville Road
losing most of its top seven runners. The Leesville Road girls look to
be the front runners for the 4A title. Sun Valley's boys showed they
will again contend for the 3A title, after placing 2nd at Wilmington,
which annually draws the top teams from the Eatern part of N.C. and some
Western powers."
