Pearl High School a 4A MSHAA school that dropped down from 5A last year continued

their winning ways. Placing 6 in the top thirty. However, Madison Central could

have been a contender but for a lack of one runner. They place 2, 5, 11, and 27th.

Meridian High School was without freshman star Peter Davidson who ran 17:11 20 days

ago at the U of Southern Mississippi Invitational. He broke a toe at Swim Team practice.

St Andrews girls continue their winning ways placing 6 runners in the top 25.

The only thing unusual about this race was that 3 of the top 5 runners were from

schools that did not have enough runners to compete for the team title.

Keri White of Vicksburg improved her time from USM by 12 seconds while Allison Horn

of St Aloyisus dropped her time by 1:06. Jackie Rentschler of Pearl improved her

time by 56 seconds.
