Shalane Flanagan of Marblehead won Division III by 1:28 in a time of 17:08 over the SAME course used for the NCAA District I meet won in 17:12 !!!   

One of the favorites for next week's state title, Said Ahmed of Boston English, dropped out due to illness before 2 miles.   Led by individual winner Tristan Colangelo (15:28, fastest boys' time of the day) Gloucester won their 8th straight Div II title; their 28 points lost to all of the remaining combined Division II teams by just 1 pt.!

Mass. All State Meet will run on Sat Nov 21 at a brutally hilly Northfield Mountain course
