The Coral Springs invite was held at Tradewinds Park, which has been the site of
numerous County, district and regioanl meets for Broward County. The course
is 3.0 miles with no hills to speak of and areas of long straight ways with
very little or few sharp turns. It's an all grass course... and in very
good condition considering the rain we got a few days before...(Hurricane
Floyd).

What a showdown, with the top boy runners in the 4A class. Joseph
took it out early (no surprise) with the Jeffersons and Bosmenier
close behind. The last mile came down to Bosmenier trying to surge
and drop S. Jefferson, but Jefferson hung tough. The last 200 saw
S.Jefferson pull away with a strong drive to the finish that was
too much for Alien. What a great race!!!!
