BOYS - GIRLS

SUMMARY

Boys: Salesianum proved once again to be the class of Delaware 
cross country with a second place team finish in the large schools
race. Eastern HS of New Jersey won the meet. EricEckstrand
of Salesianum finished second overall with a time of 16:34,
while Mike Myers of Eastern HS won with a time of 16:21. 

In the small schools race, Middletown finished third overall and first
among Delaware schools. Sidwell friends of DC won the small schools
boys race. Georgetown Prep (DC) runner Dan McKenzie finished first
with a time of 16:33

Girls: In the large schools competition; Severna Park of Maryland won
the meet while St. Mark's finished first among Delaware schools and second overall. Jill Hajec of Caesar Rodney won the individual title with a time of
20:08.


Perennial power, Ursuline Academy, had the most impressive
showing of the day among Delaware girls teams, placing 3 runners
in the top 3 and winning the small schools race. Josianne Lauber of
Oxford Area (PA) won the individual title with the fastest girls time
of the day, 19:25.
