3) What grade are you in?
4) Briefly summarize your 1999 Track and Field Year so far--
5) What are your lifetime bests in your event or events (if you compete in
more than one)?
6) What are your thoughts as you head to the World Youth Meet in Poland next
week?
7) What do you enjoy most about Track and Field?
8) Do you have any interesting stories or incidents about your involvement
with Track and Field? Any
relatives of note in sports? Awards in Other Sports or Academics?
9) Have you done anything different this year in your preparation because of
your membership on the
World Championship Youth Team?
10) What tips could you offer other young athletes just beginning in the
sport of Track and Field?
1) Dan Taylor
2) I attend Berkshire H. S. a small school in the rural town of Burton, Ohio
3) 12th
4) I won div 2 districts and regionals and set meet records in both events,
at state I got 2nd in shot and 3rd
in discus. I competed in Junior nationals and most recently won 2nd place in
both shot and discus at the
Youth Athletic National Championship.
5) In Shot 60' 2 1/2 " and in Disc 185' 7"
6) I was very excited to compete against kids from other countries

8) 1st team all North East Ohio in Football
9) No, I really didn't think about it
10)Strick to it and try hard and you'll go places
