name of the club?
LaFollette High School - Madison, Wisconsin (Madison Eastside Sharks)
3) What grade are you in?
12th grade
4) Briefly summarize your 1999 Track and Field Year so far--
High School - State Meet Qualifer in 110 High Hurdles, 300 Intermediate
Hurdles, 4 x 400 Relay
USATF - National Qualifier in Javelin and 4 x 400 Relay
Youth Athletics National Championships - Javelin 2nd Place
5) What are your lifetime bests in your event or events (if you compete in
more than one)?
Javelin - 56.58 m
6) What are your thoughts as you head to the World Youth Meet in Poland next
week?
A great "Honor" to be a member of the United States Team...
Looking forward to the opportunity of competing and hopefully performing
to my full potential.

7) What do you enjoy most about Track and Field?
Being able to challenge yourself... (Individual vs Team)
New "friendships"!
8) Do you have any interesting stories or incidents about your involvement
with Track and Field? Any

I have competed, qualified and placed at the National USATF meet in
the Multi-
Events every year since 5th grade.
All-City, All-Area, All-State Football Honors - Junior Year
9) Have you done anything different this year in your preparation because of
your membership on the
World Championship Youth Team?
Increased my physical and mental training program through out the
summer months.
Competed in several competitive National Meets
10) What tips could you offer other young athletes just beginning in the
sport of Track and Field?
