Triple Jump Another super deep event had eighth place 40-09.5! The compact Bianca Rockett (LSU), 5-5 and 130, the winner of the Long Jump on Saturday with a seasonal best, followed up here with a huge series in the Triple Jump, with a foul on her first jump, then five jumps farther than second place, topped with her pr 43-00.25 (+1.2 mps wind) win. North Texas State University at Denton (the home track!) star Dionte Campbell was next at 41-06 (+1.6), winning out a torrid competition for the second team spot over Kristee Porter (UCLA 41-05.25 +1.8), Yolanda Thompson (Virginia prep 41-04.25 +1.8), and Gina Harris (Philadelphia prep 41-03.75 +1.8). It was a great competition!
