Highlights:

Darrell Rideaux wins 100 in 10.65 (w -1.7); Combest 5th - as Combest walked slowly away head down, Rideaux turned and screamed in victory to an appreciative sold out crowd; then he held his arms out like airplane wings and took curving victory glides back up the straightaway to full throated cheers.

Boys 4x400: Vallejo wins in 3:13.61; LB Poly 4th!

Canadian champ Tanya Wright beats American champ Lindsey Hyatt in 800 - 2:08.11 to 2:10.69

Erica Whipple doubles ! clear winner over Alexis Joyce, 11.57 to 11.91, in the 100; trounces 200 field in 23.46.

CA San Lorenzo soph Alexandra Barrientos upsets Katie Hotchkiss and Sara Gorton by 3 seconds in 4:47.94.

Long Beach Wilson girls double-- 4x100 in 46.47 and 4x400 in 3:42.58 (8 second margin over city rival LB Poly).

Jill Camarena's 47-5.75 shot put edges Rebekah Green by 1.25 in.

Boys 800: Brett Tipton 1:52.60

Boys 1600: Brian Turner 4:15.03

Boys 4x100: Long Beach Poly 40.45

Colorado's Ricardo Moody rules 110 hurdles in 13.67

Closest race of the meet: Nicole Denby beats Perdita Felicien in girls 100m hurdles by no more than a hair -- the timers couldn't separate them on the clock and gave both 13.87.

Nine second winners in both 3200m races: Lauren Fleshman 10:21.36 and Adam Tenforde 8:57.19 - 10 girls under 10:45.

Girls 400: San Diego soph Monique Henderson 53.74

Boys 400: Giovanni Miles 47.93

Boys 300H: Marcell Allmond 37.40

Girls DMR: Chino Ayala winner by 15 seconds in 12:08.36

Boys DMR:  Santee West Hills 10:24.40
