Boys 300H: James Graham of Northwestern smashes the state record with a romping 36.51 FAT - almost a second under the old record of 37.33 set by Joel Brown last year.
Girls 300H: Tia Burley, Western-B, 44.03, gets her second gold
Boys 400: Northwestern-PG sweeps 1-2-3, with James Graham 47.32, Dwayne Thomas 48.27, and  Robert Wingate-Robinson 48.40 --  all holding something back for the 4x400 relay, when they will take aim at the Maryland state record 3:15.08, set in 1997 by High Point and Ato Modibo.

Boys High Jump:  Middletown sophomore Greg McCormick won his second straight title and raised the 2A record to 6-10.  Along with Malcolm Reynolds, who jumped 6-10 in the 3A meet Thursday night, McCormick now shares the second best all time high jump in the Maryland State Meet. McCormick had two good tries at 7-0.25, which would have been an all-time Maryland best.

K. C. Allen 11-0 PV -- K.C. raises the Maryland record in girls PV's third year as an official event in the state.
Pun Chittchang 40-1 TJ -- Maryland (College Park) signee is first Maryland girl over 40 feet since Valerie Williams. 
Shawn Day 9:31.9 -- Day of Thomas Johnson and David Glynn of Walter Johnson have duelled for a year, with Day usually winning at the 1600 distance and Glynn winning at 3200 and cross country.  But Day, a Mount St. Mary's signee, unleashed a kick at the 200 meter mark that was decisive. 
Malcolm Reynolds 6-10 -- Great Mills senior gets best Maryland high jump in several years. 
Jared Benoit 13-9 -- a PR and second straight state title for the Thomas Johnson junior; sophomore brother Ira was 5th.
