DIRECTIONS |
From East or West: I-70 to Route 315 North, Exit at
Lane Avenue, East. French Field House is � mile on south side of Lane Avenue.
From North: I-71 to Exit 119 (I-270). I-270 two exits to Route 315 south (exit 23). Exit
at Lane Avenue, East. From South: I-71 merges with Route 315.

REGISTRATION |
To take place entirely at the Holiday Inn
"Inn on the Lane," 328 West Lane Avenue, PACKET PICKUP directly across from
French Field House
Friday March 12: 5pm -10pm {Packets MUST be picked up 30 minutes prior to the start of the
event)
Saturday March 13: 8am - 6pm
Sunday March 14: 7am - noon |
SOUVENIRS |
Each participant will receive a meet TRAVEL BAG and
T-SHIRT. In order to receive this, athletes MUST participate in the competition, not
merely enter. |
AWARDS |
nike Indoor Classic medals will be awarded to the top 6 in each event and each champion will receive
a championship ring. |
ALL AMERICANS |
The first six finishers in each event attending U.S.
high schools will be named to the 1999 nike AMERICAN
TRACK AND FIELD MAGAZINE INDOOR ALL-AMERICAN TEAM and receive All-American Team
certificates. |
FACILITY |
6 lane 200 meter Rekortan track, 8 lanes on the
straightaway. Only �" pyramid spikes or flats permitted NO hexagonal
elements. All shoes will be checked. Acceptable spikes will be available for purchase at
the meet.
Fully automatic timing by FinishLynx.
Computerized entry by Hy-Teks Track and Field Meet Manager program. |
RULES |
USATF rules will apply. Protests must be filed in
writing within 15 minutes of the results being announced and accompanied by a $25 cash
deposit, refundable only if the protest is upheld. Athletes may wear a singlet of their
choosing as long as it does not conflict with their state association's rules.
USATF CARDS ARE REQUIRED. YOU MAY PURCHASE THEM AT YOUR LOCAL USATF OFFICE, OR AT
MEET REGISTRATION.

ADMISSION |
Admission to the competition arena: $10.00 Saturday
(under 12 - $5.00)
$15.00 Sunday (UNDER 12 - $8)
Entry is by admission ticket only unless you have a competition number or
credential. Athletes/teams receive one coach's pass only. Tickets will be sold
at the door and at registration. Competition numbers / credentials will be
distributed at registration. |
RESULTS |
Results will be posted on DyeStat each day of
competition. A printed set of results will be available by the end of March,
1999. Submit a form (available at registration) along with $8.00, or mail check to NSSF,
PO Box 16702, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. |
