BOYS - GIRLS

Netters:

Camden, Middletown South and Simon Gratz of Philadelphia were the
big winners in the high school division of the Princeton Relays today
(Saturday) at Jadwin Gym.

Camden had a triple in the boys' events, winning, in order, the
shuttle hurdle relay in 30.3, the 800-meter relay in 1:32.2 and the
1600-meter relay in 3:23.1.

Middletown South, led by the Guiney twins, Cate(2:22/5:02) and Maggie (2:22/3:43), had an impressive distance double at 9:37.6 for the 3200R and 12:12.7 in the DMR.

Simon Gratz won the girls' 800-meter relay in 1:42.5 and the 1600-meter relay, in rather dramatic fashion, in 3:53.5/ (The stick dropped on the final exchange and the Gratz anchor had to make up some 20 yards on Willingboro to win.

The featured individual miles both went to home state athletes,
Shannon Harylo of Hunterdon Central taking the girls' race in 5:14.7 and
Tim Styler of Cranford the boys in 4:21.8 off a 2:15 first 880.
