99 MD Indoor State Meet

Qualifications

The major rules for entry in regional meets and advancement to the state meet are:

Participants must be athletically eligible students in grades 9 through 12
Participants must have at least 3 weeks supervised training and participation in at least 2 MPSSAA-sanctioned meets.
Top 6 scorers in each regional event, including ties for 6th place, advance to the state meet.
Additional finishers exceeding the standards below will also advance to the state meet. (The standards are based on the average 6th place performance in the 3 previous state meets in each classification.) The 55 Meters and 55 Hurdles are excluded from advancement standards because they have preliminary rounds.
