Carroll County Championships

WESTMINSTER MD, 10/23/97 - Westminster swept both divisions of the Carroll County high school cross country championships as expected. The Owl girls won 27-48 over Liberty and the boys won 24-42 over South Carroll.

Jason Santucci led a top 4 of 6 boys attack by winning in 16:41 with teammate Greg Fisher second in 16:55. Jill Krebs of South Carroll was the girls champion (19:52) before Holly Thompson (20:21) led the winning Westminster girls to the next three places.
