[Travis reportedly committed to Arkansas on Thursday.] [Travis did not run the 800, reportedly due to lingering effects from a 10-day bout with bronchitis. He doubled with wins in 1600/3200 in '95, and tripled (with 800) last year. His 8 career state outdoor wins is the most ever in this meet in any class by a male distance runner.] 110H (2.8) - Ryland 14.90w. 4x100/4x200/4x400 - Delhi 43.18 / 1:29.14 / 3:24.72. PV - Ryland 15-0. [Ryland missed twice at 16-6. Within the next 45 minutes he won the 110H and 100, then another 45 minutes later took 2nd in 400. Looks like a good decathlon prospect.
