Westminster Sweeps

The second Mount St. Mary's HS Invitational attracted more than 500 runners from 20 schools in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

BOYS - Defending Maryland 4A champions Westminster and Jason Santucci laid an early season claim as Maryland's best. Santucci finished first in 17:11, two seconds ahead of Shawn Day GTJ.

GIRLS - Westminster makes it a sweep for the Carroll County seat, with Holly Thompson, Kate Henshaw, and Beth Vigliotti finishing 2-3-10. Milton Hershey's Faith Homan and Linganore's Cassy Crouse finished 1-2 in 21:00.
