Course Location & Description: Fort Frederick State Park is located
approximately eight miles east of Hancock, Maryland. Use exit #12 off Interstate 70. The

all courses will be clearly marked with flags, white lines, and pylons.
Meet Headquarters: Fort Frederick State Park "Barn" Area.
Parking: Adjacent to Fort Frederick State Park Visitors Center.

and at other locations in the park.
Scoring Procedure: According to NCAA or NFSHASA regulations (five scorers and
two displacers). The competitions will be scored by computer. As a back-up scoring system,
coaches MUST collect finish-place cards from their runners, put them in the team envelope,
and give the envelope containing the cards to the meet scorer immediately following each
race.

teams will receive engraved plaques.
Individuals: Top 20 finishers in each varsity race will receive
awards. Top five boys and top five girls in the junior varsity race will receive
awards.

until 20 minutes before race time. Team packets will then be at the starting line.
