information staff has made every effort to publicize Kendra's result and

I may be duplicating their efforts.  However I feel that a site as

comprehensive as yours would have an interest in this performance.

Reimer scored a wind-aided 5,478 to win the Gold Division of the College

Station Relays Heptathlon.  The existing high school best is 5,237 by

Sharon Hatfield of California.  Kendra's marks were as follows

100 Hurdles--14.24 (wind +5.53)

High Jump--5-2.25

Shot Put--37-6

200 meters--25.51 (wind +4.15)

Long Jump--19-8 (wind +5.25)

Javelin--153-10

800 meters--228.53

Meet temperatures were primarily in the 50s and upper 40s with wind

chills making it feel colder.  Although the winds were high, the

conditions as a whole were not very good.  She beat Jill Montgomery,

formerly of Kansas State and a U.S. national team member to win the

title.
