The Golden West Invitational, our nation's oldest prep post-season track & field meet, is holding its 39th Annual competition on June 13, 1998, at American River College in Sacramento, California.
This is a super elite meet, with only nine entrants per event. The GWI boasts no fewer than 127 former Olympians among its alumni, including 57 medalists, and 30 of those gold. The Golden West Selection Committee will use the HIGH SCHOOL USA page on DyeStat to help find the best athletes available.
