Woodward Relays at Walter Johnson HS -
Middletown Girls, Good Counsel Boys Win

 

GIRLS

Middletown rode strength in field events to capture the team title over Good Counsel, 82-75. Fifty of Middletown’s points came in field events, including first in high jump and pole vault and seconds in discus, shot put, and long jump. The Knights also earned a second in the shuttle hurdles.  Good Counsel won five events: 4-mile relay, shuttle hurdles, and distance medley, as well as long jump and triple jump.    Detailed girls results.

BOYS

Good Counsel won with 74 points for an 18 point margin over Walter Johnson and Richard Montgomery. Middletown was fourth with 49 points.  Detailed boys results.
