Challenge of Champions Meet Information |
General Information: This meet is sanctioned under the guidelines of participating states and the National Federation of High Schools. The National Federation of High School rules and guidelines will be followed. The Alabama High School Athletic Association rules state that an athlete may only compete in a maximum of four (4) events. Please be sure and read the following meet information for entry into the meet. Entry fee: $45 per team boys / $45 per team girls / under five (5) athletes $10 per athlete. Make check payable to: Complete Sports Productions-6509 Timbers Drive-Mobile, Alabama 36695. Entries must be received by Sunday, March 22, 2006 by11:30 pm. Entry fees must be received by Monday, March 23, 2006 and are non refundable for no shows and all weather cancellations. All Open Division entries are online at www.cfpitiming.com and follow entry procedure. This is for OPEN DIVISION ONLY!!! You may login and edit your entries as often as you wish up until the entry deadline. All entries submitted as of the entry deadline are considered FINAL. Please plan ahead and DO NOT WAIT TO THE LAST MINUTE TO ENTER. There is no charge for your account. ENTRIES FOR OPEN DIVISION WILL BEGIN ON MARCH 1, 2006. Please check Invitational Division information for entry procedure. No faxed or emailed entries will be accepted. Entries will not be processed until entry fee received. FCA Breakfast will be Saturday, April 1st at the Meet Headquarters Ashbury Hotel and Suites at 8am.Everyone is invited to attend. Complete meet results at www.dyestat.com or www.cfpitiming.com There are no packets for coaches or athletes. NO WARMUP ON TRACK OR INFIELD. ONLY COMPETING ATHLETES ALLOWED ON TRACK AND INFIELD. Athletes must abide by National High School Federation uniform rules, no caps, no sunglasses, no jewelry, etc. Please inform your athletes to avoid disqualifications. Open Division entries two (2) per event and one (1) relay team. Open Division check in at clerk of course one running event prior or at field event competition area 15 minutes before event is scheduled to start. The boys and girls Seeded Division entrants for Friday’s Open Division 3200 meter race will determined by the top 20 times submitted. Sections will be determined sometime after entries close. The unseeded 3200 meter race will run at 4pm on Friday and the Seeded Division race will be run following the 300 meter hurdle race on Friday. Please check heat sheets on www.cfpitiming.com for your athlete’s race. Three (3) jumps or throws in field events excluding pole vault/high jump three (3) attempts at each height. Athletes qualifying out of Open Division on Friday for Invitational Division on Saturday will be notified at meet site. Please check with meet management before the end of the meet. Invitational Division Invitational Division is an all finals format. Please note entries for Invitational Division meet are pre-selected, reserved and limited. Invitational Division: All events check in 15 minutes before event at clerk of course or field event area. Weight implements will be weighed in before Invitational Division competition. Award presentations at the conclusion of each event on the infield. |
