Mobile athletes test themselves against national stars each year. This year, three Mobile boys are in two of the best events -- 400 and triple jump. In the Gwinnett County GA Championships last week, Collins Hill jr Jackie Drouin (right) and Meadowcreek Norcross jr Brittany Hall duelled in the 800 with Hall winning, 2:13.35 to 2:14.43. Hall doubled in the 400 (56.05) and will run the 800 here. Drouin won the 1600 (4:59.24) and will run the 2-mile here,.

Eighth grader Cory McGee of Pass Christian MS beat her elders in the NSIC mile in New York City 3 weeks ago, finishing first in a time of 4:49.32. She is entered in the 800 here.
