The Arcadia Invitational is a premier meet that hosts the best track and field athletes of the country. The High School provides a most spacious and scenic facility. The San Gabirel Mountains that rise above the press box and grand stand make for a spectacular backdrop for the exciting, elite performances on the track and field.

It is a meet that reflects the passion for track and field that is found in California. This year 8,000 people attended, filling the stands and open areas. There are grand stands on each side of the field. This year a new bleachers section was added to provide more seating. But still that wasn't enough. By 5pm you couln't get a seat. So fans lined the fences and walkways to see the action on the track. And, a most important point is that the stands were filled to the very end!
