Alan Webb This meet mixes high school and elite events, with preps sometimes stepping up to compete with the elites. Most notably, this is the meet where Alan Webb became the first high schooler to run a sub-4 minute mile indoors in 2001 (left). Webb's 3:59.86 is still the national high school indoor mile record. Last year, it was the 400 where high school athletes tested their mettle - Nicole Leach PA and Clemore Henry NY. Henry returns this year after winning the Hispanic Games 400m (48.61 US#1), the Brown 500m (1:04.76 US#1), and the Jim McKay 600m (1:23.91 US#8).
