Three Foot Locker finalists -- Lindsey Ferguson (2), Aislinn Ryan (1) and Shelby Greany -- gapped the 3000 meter field early and ran as a team for more than half the race before Ferguson drew away to win by 13 seconds in 9:42.55 US#1.

GabbyMayo Gabby Mayo - Southeast Raleigh NC junior made a successful trip up north, winning the 55m dash in 6.92 US#2 and the 200 in 24.22 US#1. She was MVP of the North Carolina 4A state meet last year, running the 100H, 300H, and two relays.

Biggest meet of the monster schedule at the New York Armory. More than 5,000 athletes pack the Armory on Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm.

Invitational miles and 400 meters are the featured individual events, with the mile winners getting an automatic invitation to the Millrose Games high school mile Feb. 3 in Madison Square Garden. Other top entries are in the 2-mile, 55m, 55H, 200, and 800. Boys - Girls - Teams.
