- Bobby Curtis 3-peats with stunning 100-meter surge on lap 7 of the mile; overcoming team tactics of Mike McGrath and Joaquin Chapa. Nicole Blood rolls to wire-to-wire victory in the 2-Mile to go with her winning anchor Saturday in the 4xMile relay. Nikki Bohnsack, all the way back from her swimming accident injury last August, anchored thrilling relay wins for Rockford MI in the DMR and 4x800. Sarah Bowman joins the elite with killer surge in the mile. Tommy Skipper cleared 17-3.75 and seemed on his way to a new US record when his pole shattered, breaking his left thumb. And Chris Solinsky wins national title in the 2-Mile; his first race of year!

  • 2001 - Alan Webb runs 8:45 2 mile, 3rd best ever.
  • 2000 - Doubles by Erica Whipple and Allen Simms. Rockford girls triple. Other big wins by Lashinda Demus, Alejandra Barrientos, Alan Webb, Dathan Ritzenhein, Kevin Bookout.
  • 1999 - Inaugural meet at Columbus OH sees Casey Combest rocket to national record 6.57 in 60 meter dash, faster than the NCAA champion the same weekend. Other notable winners are Ricky Harris, Perdita Felicien, and Sheena Johnson. Wilson Long Beach CA girls triple in relays and Istrouma LA boys double.
