Preview - Talk about disadvantages. This team trains in sub-zero temperatures and ends its season the first week of October. After winning their second straight Alaska state championship, they journeyed 2,400 miles southeast to Portland and beat hometown Portland Harriers (Jesuit), the Northwest's #1 team, decisively in the adidas Concordia Classic. After waiting until Selection Sunday 4 to get an at large bid, they gladly made the long trip again for NTN. |
