ROP (Right of Passage) NV

I am sorry that i do not have any pics. Anyway the course i believe is the toughest out there is the ROP (right of passage) xc course outside of Carson City Nevada. Starts on wide grassy field then funnels to slight uphill pavement for 300 meters. Drops down off the road thru the sand and across a creek(creek is at about 600 meter mark). You're running thru sand with wet feet which get heavier with every stride.

At about 1000 meter mark is "THE HILL". You can not run this hill, it is all sand about 100 meters long and is at around a 20%grade. You come screaming down the hill and spend the next mile or so running thru the desert sand some more (lots of rollers) then back down thru the creek and to the finish line.

From what i remember winning time was always around 19 minutes. So about three minutes slower then your average course.

Thanks
MIke
