Top 10 -
1) MEAD, WA-- Won league tri-meet
with near perfect scores only competition.
2) FLATHEAD, MT -- @ Sunfair
Invite. First place with 20 pts for seven scored runners. With only five
would be 3rd with 18, average time of 16:28 for 5 was third best. Sixth
and seventh runners both won their divisions.
3) HERMISTON, OR -- @ Jim Danner Invite. 4th with
207 points; average time was 16:25.
4) FERRIS, WA-- Won league tri-meet.
Third at Sunfair Invite with 28 points. But would have won with 15 if
only five scored. Average time of 16:25 is even better as #2-#3-#4 runners
each won their races.
5) JESUIT, OR -- @ Jim Danner
Invite. 15th Place with 374 points and 16:50 average time. Very "un-Jesuitlike".
Coach confirms league quad on Wednesday, plus long hard workout left
tired legs. They did try as they were in 4th place as a team at 3k mark
before all fading. Top finisher was 49th.
6)BOISE, ID -- @ Jim Danner
Invite. 2nd place with 134 points, and average time of 16:10. 2 runners
were up front (10th and 18th) then a pack of 4 seniors in 16:22 (34th
place) to -16:30 (45th place).
7) CENTRAL CATHOLIC, OR -- Easily
won league meet with 4 runners resting. Kenny Klotz's last
800 2:17. Won Jim Danner Invite with 114 points (won by 20 pts) Average
time was 15:58. Huge improvement for Soph Taylor
Morgan to
finish #16 at 15:52. Last spring Morgan broke Galen
Rupp’s frosh 3k record! Although team got
out into lead early, video shows that #2-5 picked off about 10 runners
each in last 2k. Klotz intermittently lead throughout with Stoutenburgh
and Helmer, but was outleaned in photo finish.
8) SEHOME, WA -- @ Sunfair
Invite. Won 3A division, but all divisions ran together and Sehome
was 4th overall and 5th if only 5 score. Average time of 16:46. Team
ran much better at New Balance Invite with an average time of 16:05 when
they could run as a pack.
9) TAHOMA, WA -- @ Sunfiar Invite.
Second place to Flathead with 23 points for seven runners. Would be second
to Ferris with 16 points if only 5 runners counted. Top average of the
day with 16:24. Soph Jordan Lafler 2nd in
#2 race in 15:58 appears ready for even more.
10) NORTH CENTRAL, WA -- Easily
won league quad-meet on hilly 3 mile course.
Also:
HELENA, MT -- second to Bozeman at Butte Invite
with 51 points to Bozeman’s
23. Individual champ Joel Bishoff (16:16).
All seven Bozeman runners in front of Helana #3.
GIRLS TOP
10 -
1) GIG HARBOR, WA -- @ Sunfair
Invite. 3rd place, but average time 19:37 (led by 18 secs) . #5 runner
ran very poorly (22:42) which cost Gig the trophy. But put #6 20:42 for
the easy 5 person win.
2) JESUIT OR -- @ Jim Danner
Invite. Clear 2nd place with 161 points. First finisher was 18th in 19:01,
with a split of 43 second to #5 and seventh runner Maria

points, and an average time of 19:28.
4) BOZEMAN, MT -- Easily won
Butte Invitational (22 pts) over Helena (73) and 5 other teams. Average
time was 19:37. Kate Dolan was 2nd place
at 18:52. Elizabeth Spartas improved to 20:44 and new #6 to give Bozeman
at least 8 quality runners, but their strength is still with first four.

Jim Danner Invite. 9th place with 244 points, 19:38 average time.
