6. Eisenhower Yakima WA
It's official! Charles Cummings, a fifth-year senior who ran 8:35 for 3000m this past spring, will be allowed to continue competing for Eisenhower following countless debate with Washington State's high school athletics governing body. Adding Cummings back into Phil English's mix will likely shake up Washington's
teams over the next five weeks, especially following Ike's respectable finish at California's Woodbridge Invitational versus CA's best. Cummings and Robbie Barany (14:43 for 3mi at Woodbridge) amazed spectators at the Bellevue Invitational this past weekend, running side-by-side for a 1-2 finish in a flighted race (1-2, 3-43, 5-6, 7-8 runners together in separate flights), both timed in 15:36 for fast 5k.

competitor over 400m out for a daunting 1-2 finish, leading CC over NW#4 South Eugene 43 to 58 points.
