Course and conditions: Warm, overcast, 80s. Course 3.1 miles, One large loop on gravel and cement bike trail around Cherry Creek Reservior. Girls Varsity race: This race featured another showdown between the top Colorado team, SW#5 Fairview, and Fort Collins High School. Fort Collins High School, who beat Fairview the week before in Boulder, beat them again by a slim 4 point margin. The Lambkins were led by a 1st place finish in Katie Follett, and a new freshman, Miranda Benzel in 16th. However, the low pack-time of FCHS proved too much for Fairview as their 2nd through 6th runners ran a pack time of 28 seconds! Fort Collins High School Girls (Katelyn

Girls Team Results: 1st Fort Collins High School - 69 Boys Varsity race: This race featured the top two teams in the State of Colorado, #1 Fort Collins High School and #2 Cherry Creek High School (#5 SW). Fort Collins High School was led by a 2nd place finish in Noah Shannon (Matt Herzal of Heritage won individual honors). The Lambkins put three runners in the top ten as Tyler Abbey finished 5th and Will Everett finished 9th , and their one through five pack time was only 58 seconds!
