Fremont hosted the Nebraska District A-2 Championship at Valley View
Golf Course. The conditions of the course were very soft which added
difficulty to the already challenging course.
HL#7 Fremont boys placed 6 in the top 13,
led by Nick
Leland's 2nd place
finish in 16:55. It was the 4th fastest time ever for a Fremont runner
on the course. Fremont's top 5 were separated by only 15 seconds, which
helped extend their district winning streak to five. Fremont again sat
out top runner Bryce Christensen who is
now back and will compete at the State Championship next Friday. The
top 3 teams qualify for the State Championships.
