1. Liberty MO and #6 St. Joseph Central MO--Liberty won the Kansas City area sectional with 48 points. St. Joe Central was second with 72 and Lee's Summit third with 88. Michael Pierce (Oak Park-Kansas City) won the race at Lake Jacom in 16:43 with St. Joe Central's Chris Pullen (16:45) and Brett Musser (16:47) at 2-3. Kip Hill led Liberty, placing fifth at 16:55. Brett Agee (Liberty) was 10th at 17:05, followed by Sean Eztenhauser (Libery) 8th at 17:03 and Chavis Clawson (Liberty) in 12th at 17;13. Sean Hale (Liberty) was 16th at 17:18, with Bryce Anderson St. Joe Central's third man in 18th (17:20). Jeff Beseson (St. Joe Central) was 25th at 17;40, and Jared Cline (Liberty) 30th at 17:43.
2. Marshall MN--Won Minnesota Section 2AA title with 30 points over Willmar (51). Yaha Iman (16:09) and Dahir Jumale (16:10) go 1-2 in cool wet conditions. Next three pack at 8-9-10 in mid 16:50's in 100+ man field.
3. Shawnee Mission Northwest KS and #5 Emporia. Shawnee Mission Northwest won their 11th straight 6A boys title at Rimrock Farm Saturday. Tucker Weems led Northwest, winning in 15:51. Nothwest placed four runners in the top twenty, with Brett Imgrund (7th 16:32), Matt Morton (12th 16:49) and Josh Weems (18th 16:56). Rick Stahl (22nd 17:04) and Jonathan Daniels (23rd 17:06) rounded out SMNW's top six. SMNW scored 41 to Emporia's 63. Nick Garcia (7th 16:34) and Shea Camien (8th 16:44) led Emporia, with Skyler Delmott (17th 16:55) also medaling. Mauricio Morales (26th 17:19) and Marcus Delgado (33rd 17:26) completed Emporia's top five.

10. Roosevelt, Des Moines IA--Placed second at the Iowa 4A state meet to Cedar Falls (91) with 110 points. Kiel Uhl (15:26) and Jon Thomas (15:34) ran 1-2 for Roosevelt, but Cedar Falls packed with Brian Chenoweth (16;13), Steve Arntson (16:14) and Dan Chenoweth (16:17) going 8-9-10. Yawusa Kinda was 29th for Roosevelt at 16:52, but Cedar Falls nailed down the title with Cyrus Moussavi (31st 16:53) and Jason Mitchell (33rd 16:57).

3. Iowa City West IA--Won the Iowa 4A state title with a score of 66 over cross town rival Iowa City High 89. Led by Sarah Wickman, 2nd by one second (14:49 4k) to Roosevelt-Des Moines Hannah Roeder. Janet Dobyns (9th 15:16), Claire Hall (11th 15:22)) and Julia Fruddent (12th 15;24) packed well, with Elise Walz (32nd 15:54) the fifth runner.
4. Roosevelt, Sioux Falls SD--Concluded season 2nd by four points to #2 Yankton in South Dakota State meet.
5. Minnetonka MN and #6 Hopkins MN--Both lost to Eden Prarie at the Section 6AA meet in Gale Woods Regional. Eden Prarie scored 82, with Minnetonka (89) edging Hopkins (89) on the pusher and Edina a close fourth (97). Here is a comparison of the top four teams from http://www.raceberryjam.com/

7. Lakeville MN--Won the Minnesota 1AA Section with 33 points. Dover-Eyota second with 43. Elizabeth Yetzer led team with a 14:27 4k, winning by over 30 seconds. Michelle Volz and Solange Mller went 2-3 at 15:10 and then scored 12-16 pack, with seventh runner at 15:52 in sixteen school field.
8. Stevens, Rapid City SD--Concluded season a close third to Yankton and Roosevelt Sioux Falls in South Dakota State Meet.
9. Dickinson ND--Concluded season as North Dakota State champ, with 5 in the top 15 averaging 15:38 4k
10. Lee's Summit North MO--Roared through the Kansas City sectional Saturday at Lake Jacomo, winning with 46 to previously Heartland ranked Blue Springs 77 in second. Elizabeth Keaveny (St. Teresa's-Kansas City) won in 19:45, with Ashley Mark leading LSN in third (20:02). Lindsay Pierson (7th 20:18), Kari Frichtie (8th 20:19), Baylee Sweeton (9th 20:34) and Kristie Colon (10th 20:40) formed a tight pack to complete the scoring.
