SO#1/US#20 Corpus Christi King TX won District 28-5A with a perfect 15 points. King sr Ari Perez defended his individual title with a 15:14 effort to lead a 1-2-3-4-5-6-8 team performance and a :47 1-5 spread.

SO#2/US#21 Flower Mound TX dominated the Pinkston James King Invite with a score of 19 and 5 in the top 6. Flower Mound sr J B Lagos captured individual gold in 14:59 ahead of Coppell jr Taylor Ray in 15:07. Flower Mound top 4 man Nathan Milles took the week off.

SO#4 Cinco Ranch TX won the Katy ISD meet 25-76 over runner-up Mayde Creek. Cinco Ranch sr Joe Sauvageau led a 1-2-3 sweep in 15:50. Cinco Ranch coach Gary Derks said earlier, "We're not focusing on the Katy ISD meet and are going to be training hard until Regional (Nov. 5th)."

SO#10 Tupelo MS won its home invite 24-46 over local rival Saltillo. Seth Covington of Saltillo won the individual title in 16:34 for 5000m, but Tupelo snared 5 of the top 8 for the team crown.

Oklahoma 5A West Regional - Mustang OK won easily with 43 points placing 4 in the top 9 as as their top 5 averaged 16:41 for 5000m. Mustang jr Kevin Schwab, unbeaten and the defending state champ, took the individual title in 15:20. Edmond North OK garnered silver with 109 points and a 17:13 average and was led by jr Quintell Wilson (#4 state returner) in 3rd in 16:07. Westmoore OK finished 3rd with 111.

Oklahoma 5A West Regional - Jenks OK scored 77 and beat Tulsa Union OK on the #6 man tiebreaker 27th-42nd. Jenks' top 5 averaged 17:05 with a :33 spread. Tulsa Union was led by sr Alex Rowin (state #2 returner) in 3rd in 16:15. Broken Arrow OK was 3rd with 84 points followed by Enid OK with 96. Owasso OK jr Kendall Robbins (state #3 returner) captured gold in 15:54.

Ft Worth Northside TX won District 7-4A with 21 points and 6 of the top 9 spots. Ft Worth Northside's Armando Salvivar was the individual champ in 14:55.

Jesuit LA dominated the Ragin' Cajun Cross Country Invite at the U of Louisiana-Lafayette with 28 points. Jesuit sr Brett Guidry took the 3 mile title in 15:35 as his team placed 5 in the top 10.

Pearl MS hosted an invite and captured team gold with 31 points over Madison Central MS with 58 and Ridgeland with 96. Pearl placed 4 in the top 10 led by sr Tyler Wade in 2nd in 17:39.

Bentonville Ar won its home invite with 32 points.

Westmooreís top 5 averaged 12:06 with a 1:12 spread. Defending state champ Mustang OK was 2nd with 69 points and a 12:19 average followed by Edmond Memorial OK with 99.

Oklahoma 5A East Regional - Jenks OK won the team crown with 51 points as its top 5 averaged 12:17 with a :33 spread. Tulsa Union OK took silver with 70 points as sr Ina Ables (2004 state 1st) won individual gold in 11:36 followed by teammate Andrea Alonso in 11:54 for silver. Broken Arrow OK was 3rd with 128 points.

Barbe LA won the Ragin' Cajun Cross Country Invite at the U of Louisiana-Lafayette with 29 points followed by St Joseph with 69 points. Barbe jr Lydia Woodward, defending state champ, took the 3 mile race in 18:23.

Pearl MS hosted an invite and came away with the win 32-56 over St Andrews followed by Madison Central with 71. Pearl's Shelby Self topped the field with a 16:12 for 4K as her team put 4 in the top 10.

Bentonville AR scored a perfect 15 at its home invite.
