The Wisconsin state meet regionals and sectionals are being held this week. The state meet will be held on June 6 and 7.

Madison Memorial sophomore Jenny Soceka was the top performer this week by setting the all-time best Wisconsin prep pole vault with a 12-3 clearance at the Big 8 Conference meet.

Other top girls performances included CatholicMemorial hurdler Brittany Grayson ran 14.79 in the Classic 8 Conference meet. Also at the Classic 8, Elizabeth Robe (Waukesha West junior) threw the shot 45-1. In the discus, Riverdale senior Kami Sweet threw 143-2 to move up the top-50 list.

For the boys, Antonio Freeman (Wauwatosa West) had a fantastic day at the Woodland Conference meet. Freeman ran 10.2h in the 100 meters and 21.1h in the 200 meters. Freeman's 10.2 is ties him for the 5th best time by a Wisconsin male prep. Green Bay Southwest senior Brandon Meves took over the lead in the 300 hurdles with his 38.83 win at the Brown County meet. Weyerhaeuser senior Antoine Roberts leaped 47-0.5 triple jump at the East Lakeland Conference meet.
