Boys - Girls

Final 2005 season rankings reflected the results of the Nike Team Nationals at Portland Dec. 23. NTN champions Saratoga Springs NY boys and Hilton NY girls moved into the US#1 slots. Four other boys teams made upward moves in the top 10 -- Mead WA (6 to 4), Mountain View UT (9 to 5), Jesuit Carmichael CA (10 to 7), and Fort Collins CO (11 to 9). Biggest boys team move was Chapel Hill NC from 25th to 12th.

Even bigger moves were made in the girls rankings, with four teams besides Hilton improving their status in the top 10 -- Carroll Southlake TX (8 to 3), Naperville North IL (20 to 4), Gig Harbor WA (14 to 7), and Rocky Mountain CO (12 to 8). Three other teams rose from unranked to the top 15 -- Eleanor Roosevelt MD (12th), Oak Park CA (13th) and Episcopal Jacksonville FL (15th).
