New Balance National Scholastic Indoor - March 10-12, 2000 - New York Armory

General Information

Any athlete competing for their HS team and any high school age athlete - born September 1, 1981 or later, who is a full-time student in the 9th-12th grades and who has met the entry standards is eligible. Exceptions are made for athletes in the 7th or 8th grades who are (or would be, in the case of a club athlete) eligible for their high school team.
This is an open meet sanctioned by USA Track & Field. It is NOT sanctioned by any high school federation - local, state, or national, as it is after the official high school indoor season in most states. Athletes are advised to be aware of their local and/or state association rules regarding such a competition and to check with either their coach, state federation or the meet director, if there is any question about his or her eligibility for the New Balance National Scholastic Indoor Track & Field Championships.
All athletes must have valid USATF cards.
Purchase a 2000 USATF card (valid Jan. 1,2000 until Dec. 31,2000) through your local USATF Association Office or by using the application included in this entry form and returning it with your entry. The cost is $15.
ENTRY FEES: Individual Events and Pentathlon: $22 per event, Relays: $60 (4 x $15)
Make checks or money orders payable to the Metropolitan Athletics Congress (MAC). Fees for late entries must be paid by certified check. Your canceled check is your receipt. All entry fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Fees are payable in US dollars only and checks must be drawn on US banks. School vouchers, postal money orders are also acceptable. No Canadian personal checks will be accepted; Postal Canadian Money Orders, in US dollars only, are acceptable.
PRE-ENTRY ONLY: All on-time entries must be postmarked by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18. Late Registration: Entries will be accepted (assuming they meet the entry standards) if they are RECEIVED on or before Wednesday, March 1st, and accompanied by an additional $15 late fee per event entered. No entry will be accepted after March 1st though exceptions may be made for athletes qualifying in late state meets, at the discretion of the meet management. There is absolutely no day-of-meet registration. No FAXed entries will be accepted. For overnight mailing, the street address of MAC is: 57 Reade Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10007.
