New this year, NWN comes to you at the regional level. We've broken it down to eight regions, each captained by its very own Nike Elite Athlete. Ever been to a party thrown by Nike with guest appearances by Sanya Richards, Alan Webb, or Kara Goucher? What if that party was for you, and at your school? Sounds cool, right? Well, all you gotta do is win and it's yours!
Nike Web Nationals now in its fourth year is open from March 15 through June 23. We will announce the boys and girls overall winners on June 25th.

New this year, National Champions (boys & girls) will receive a track team party thrown by Nike and your Regional Nike Elite Athlete Captain! That's right, we're coming out to your school, to throw you a party, and we're bringing one of the world's greatest track and field athletes with us!
SCORING
Nike Web Nationals scoring is similar to that of the decathlon in that there are 10 events and a rough maximum of 1,000 points per event, but the calculation of values is unique to NWN.
The points table for each event is made by setting 2005's National Record to 1,000 points and the DyeStat Elite cutoff to 700 points.
The point value of inches and seconds of any performance can then be calibrated, and you can do so using the NWN Calculator.
An average performance tends to settle in the 400-500 point range. NWN uses 2005 standards to maintain year-to-year comparisons and as a consequence more than 1,000 points are possible per event.
