Nijgia Snapp to stay in the Garden State for her college years

Feb. 12 - Nijgia Snapp of Oakcrest (NJ) in Mays Landing, one of the top quarter milers in the nation, signed a national letter of intent to attend Seton Hall University, Seton Hall coach John Moon announced.
Snapp, the 400-meter winner at the Meet of Champions (on right at the 2008 Meet of Champs) last winter, has run 55.4 in the 400 this season, the second fastest time in the nation for the season. Snapp will try to win her second straight state Group 4 400 title this Sunday at the Bennett Center in Toms River.
