50.52, and both beat defending champion Dwight Ruff NJ 51.06. Jackson
matched his prelim time, which make him US#5 all time. Ferguson
tied for US#8 all time. Jackson and Ferguson are both heading to
University of South Carolina next year, giving coach Curtis Frye
a 1-2 sweep in both womens and mens 400
meter hurdles.

Rerun of torrid AOC Raleigh duel between Bershawn
Jackson FL and Kenneth Ferguson MI looms for Saturday's final.
After Ferguson beat defending champion Dwight Ruff, 51.26 to 21.60,
in section 1, Jackson upped the ante by demolishing section 2 in an
eased up 50.33. That made the Miami speedster US#5 all time in this
event. Ferguson became US#9 all time last week at Raleigh when he
beat Jackson in 50.55 after the two engaged in a reckless sprint around
the last turn and both crashed into the next to last hurdle.
